As a local community-based printing company in Toronto, we are able to offer a wide range of eco-friendly and recycled printing products.
As more and more people are becoming aware of living a more environmentally-friendly lifestyle, "Green Printing" - or the use of less hydro and recycled paper products - is gaining in popularity.
Friendlier printing is preferred and we are trying to do our part where we are able.
Responsible Recycled Printing Practices
Red Hot Printing is committed to responsible printing and adheres to the following practices whenever possible:
- We use high-grade and de-inked paper stock. This essentially means the recycled paper is of a higher grade (as opposed to newspaper, for example) and has had the ink removed in the process. For printing purposes, this consists of envelopes, letterhead and paper used for copying, for example.
- Our deliveries are made by us when possible on our way in or out of the office each day, thus reducing unnecessary emissions.
- Using computerized presses means less chemical waste.
Although a work-in-progress, we are constantly trying to minimise our effect on the environment as a whole while assisting local businesses with their printing and promotional needs. Over time this will - and has - enabled us to become more responsible in our printing practices.
